Stratosphere is a one day event to bring a selected group of extra-ordinary people together to share and grow ideas in a distraction free event space created in the desert. The high class environment with a casual approach is targeted at a younger audience.
Every participant is deliberately chosen by a committee and receives a personal invitation. Stratosphere hosts talks, presentations, discussions as well as time to chat in smaller groups.
As Stratosphere has gained traction over the past 3 years, a new identity was needed to reflect the growth.
The new identity had to be more sophisticated and convey the qualities of the event without feeling too reserved. It was to be applied to invitations, banners, give aways and other branded material.
We developed a clean and airy look supported by a sophisticated logo and key visual.
For the key visual we explored a blue gradient that implies an upward motion, symbolizing growth and elevating ideas and also the gradient of the atmosphere establishing an instant link to the event's name.
To delight the guests on first contact, we turned the invitation into an experience.
The invitation, instead of being digital, consists of an envelope that contains a letter addressing the guest personally, as well as a ticket in a sturdy sleeve. The ticket and sleeve work as a mark of quality, something the invitee can interact with, and also has a save-the-date function.
The envelope features the key visual being used as a seal and a subtle mark.The sleeve is die cut on both sides revealing the key-visual on the ticket.
As a welcome gift, guests receive a goody bag with a power bank to charge mobile devices, a keychain and sunscreen.
