The Climate Alliance, encompassing some 1,700 member municipalities and districts covering 26 European countries as well as a variety of regional governments, NGOs and other organisations are actively working to combat climate change.
A report on the importance of global partnerships was to be be issued and handed out to Members, City officials and members of the European Parliament.
Our task was to create a publication that had to stand out, provoke curiosity and entice the recipient to read and understand. The target audience ranges from other climate protection organizations over civil officials to delegates of the European Union. Several infographics were developed to explain details about the partnerships and travels of delegates.
The publication should be able to guide the reader through a summary of the importance of global partnerships, challenges facing European cities and indigenous peoples of Amazonia, and political recommendations for coherent climate policy.
We created three brochures held together by a fold-back clip allowing for easy removal and reorganization. The three segments were to be handed out as a bundle, yet the reader should be able to separate and rearrange them.
The brochures are differently-sized, so that their respective titles are visible when stacked, allowing for an easy navigation.
The abstract and colorful covers grab the reader’s attention and inspire curiosity. The layout is kept variable to create a more diverse experience, being both delightful to read but also retaining an appropriate amount of sincerity.
